Swap FAQs

  1. What is M1 FoneCare Enterprise?
    M1 Biz FoneCare+ provides worry-free care for your new mobile device by allowing you to swap your device for any reason. Swap requests can be delivered to your doorstep within 4 hours locally. M1 Biz FoneCare+ allows 1 swap every 12 rolling months for customer signing up for the 36 months plan. You will also get complimentary daily tech support for any of your technical issue. Not only that, M1 Biz FoneCare+ subscriber also get to access 1 time in every 12 months screen repair service (Separate service with standalone T&C).

  2. What is a Swap Request?
    A Swap Request is when you exchange your existing mobile device for a 'Like Mobile Device'.

  3. What is a Like Mobile Device?
    A Like Mobile Device is a new or refurbished mobile device which is of similar make and functionality:
    • has same or greater memory;
    • may be of a different make, model, or colour;
    • have a different IMEI;
    • does not include any accessories; and
    • may contain original or non-original manufacturer parts if it is refurbished
       
  4. Am I eligible to make a Swap request?
    You are eligible if you are a M1 Biz FoneCare+ 36 months contract subscriber and:
    • the IMEI you furnished matches our records
    • M1/Asurion is satisfied that the Service Request Form is validly completed, which includes checking that your Company Stamp is affixed to the Service Request Form and that it originates from your business email address;
    • you are within your Swap Request limit;
    • the Registered Device was on a M1 network before you submit your Service Request Form; and
    • the Registered Device was not used for commercial gain or illegal activities.
       
  5. How do I make a Swap Request?
    Step 1: Download and complete the Swap Request Form (insert link for Swap Request form). Please make sure you provide all the following important information:
    • Name of Mobile User
    • Company Name
    • Company BRN
    • Enrolled Mobile Number
    • Enrolled Handset Model
    • Enrolled Handset IMEI Number

    Step 2: Email the completed Service Request Form from your business e-mail to bizfonecare@asurion.com.

  6. When will my Swap Request be processed?
    Swap Requests are processed from Mondays to Saturdays, 9am to 6pm. An agent will contact you for verification.

    Once the Swap Request is accepted, we will arrange for delivery of your Like Mobile Device and collection of your existing device at your registered business address.

    You will need to be personally present and have the following documents on hand:
    • Valid proof of identity
    • Staff ID or business card
    • Original stamped copy of the Service Request Form or a copy of company’s business profile (dated within 1 month for new customer/6 months for existing customer) from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authorities of Singapore (ACRA)
       
  7. What is the warranty period for the device received under the Swap Request?
    M1 Biz FoneCare+ provides a 6-month warranty for all Like Mobile Devices delivered under a Swap Request, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty protects against manufacturer defects and malfunctions.

  8. What should I do if I encounter a malfunction or defect within the 6-month warranty period?
    Step 1: Download and complete the Swap Request Form.

    Step 2: Email the completed Service Request Form from your business e-mail address to bizfonecare@asurion.com to make a warranty claim for a Like Mobile Device.

  9. Do I have to pay for pick-up and return of my mobile phone?
    Pick-up and return of your mobile phone are free-of-charge for the first trip. Subsequent trips are chargeable at $42.80 (inclusive of GST) for weekdays and $85.60 (inclusive of GST) for weekends.

 

Screen Repair FAQ

  1. What is a Screen Repair Service?
    Screen Repair is a standalone service offered by Asurion directly, to repair or replace your mobile phone screen only. If there are other damages found on the mobile phone, your mobile phone will not be eligible for repair.

  2. What devices are eligible for Screen Repair Service?
    Currently available for all mobile phones (except for HUAWEI Mate XS, HUAWEI P50 Pocket and all models of NOTHING)

  3. Who can access the Screen Repair Service?
    This service is automatically available to all Biz FoneCare+ subscribers who can get access to 1 Screen Repair every 12 months. No enrolment nor additional monthly fee is required.

  4. How do I make a Screen Repair request?
    To make a Screen Repair request, download and complete the Screen Repair Form

    Email the completed repair form to screenrepair_m1@asurion.com to access a door-to-door pick up and return service of your mobile phone.

  5. Do I need to pay to repair my mobile phone screen?
    Yes, a repair fee of $99 (inclusive of GST) is applicable for non-foldable device and $299 (inclusive GST) for mobile phones which have a folding screen and a recommended retail price of $2,000 or higher (exclusive of GST). Payment will be accepted in all forms of credit or debit cards, cash on delivery or corporate cheque on delivery.

  6. Is there a warranty on the Screen Repair?
    Each Screen Repair comes with a free 12 months warranty against manufacturer defects on the screen that starts from the date of return of your mobile phone. Do note that manufacturing malfunctions or defects does not include battery degradation. You may make a warranty request by downloading and completing the Screen Repair Form (insert link for Screen Repair form) and email the completed screen repair form toscreenrepair.m1@asurion.com

  7. How long will it take for the Screen Repair Service be completed?

  8. Will I get a temporary loan mobile phone when I send my mobile phone for repair?
    No, we do not provide temporary loan mobile phone for any Screen Repair Service.

  9. How do I get updates on my repair status?
    You can email to screenrepair_M1@asurion.com to get a status update on your repair.

  10. Can I walk in to the Repair Centre to get my phone repaired?
    No. Only door-to-door pick-up and return service offered only.

  11. What happen if repair parts are temporary unavailable? You will be presented with 2 options.
    1. Leave your phone at the repair center and wait up to 30 days for parts to be available. However, this is not a promise of parts availability.
    2. Arrange to have the phone return to you.


  12. Do I have to be present to hand over and receive the mobile phone sent in for the Screen Repair?
    Yes, you will need to be present as our courier needs to verify (i) your identity and (ii) the IMEI of your mobile phone at the time of pick-up and return. To protect your privacy and for subsequent data restoration to your mobile phone, please remember to back up your mobile phone’s content and perform the following steps before handing the mobile phone to our designated courier.
    Step (1): Delete all user content and data from your mobile phone
    Step (2): Disable all activation locks (eg. FMiP), personal security pins and passwords from the mobile phone Step (3): Perform a factory reset Note: Any remaining content will be deleted at the time of repair.

  13. What happens if my Screen Repair is not successful?
    If your mobile phone is diagnosed to be ineligible for repair at our Repair Centre, you will receive a SMS notification to contact us for the next course of action.

  14. I wish to reschedule the pick-up or return of my mobile phone. What should I do?
    To arrange for another timing, simply email to screenrepair_M1@asurion.com to reschedule the pick-up or return before 7pm, one day before the scheduled return timing.

  15. Do I have to pay for pick-up and return of my mobile phone?
    Pick-up and return of your mobile phone are free-of-charge for the first trip. Subsequent trips are chargeable at $42.80 (inclusive of GST) for weekdays and $85.60 (inclusive of GST) for weekends.

  16. Will I have access to Screen Repair Service if I terminate my Biz FoneCare+subscription?
    No, once you terminate your Biz FoneCare+ subscription, the Screen Repair Service will no longer be available to you.
